Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller with previous experience of working within the manufacturing sector to join our clients dynamic team at their new Salford Location. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CNC machinery with the ability to fabricate components to precise specifications. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and practical skills, ensuring that all operations are executed efficiently and safely within our manufacturing environment.

Duties

Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate components accurately. Operate CNC machines 3,4 or 5Axis, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards. Conduct regular maintenance checks on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Assemble components using hand tools and other equipment as required. Handle materials effectively within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and inventory management. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance production efficiency.

Requirements

Proficient in operating 3,4 or 5 axis machines Experience in materials handling and warehouse operations is advantageous. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate logic controllers effectively. Competent in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Familiarity with hand tools and assembly techniques is essential. A keen eye for detail and precision in all aspects of work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
