Job Description

HMT Engineering Ltd have relocated to the modern, clean well equipped 20,000 sq./ft unit of their sister company, Amill Engineering, in Telford Close Aylesbury and now have vacancies for CNC Miller Setter Operators.

As an experienced production engineer, you will be working with the latest HAAS and Mazak machines alongside other skilled CNC Machinists in a varied and interesting role. As the company also operates Charmilles EDM, Rollomatic and Jones & Shipman grinding equipment there is the opportunity to expand your skill-set.

Duties:

Producing wide range of parts working from engineering drawings and CAD models - knowledge of Hypermill software would be beneficial

Ensuring the quality of the parts are correct using metrology equipment & ensuring production output targets are met

Summary

As a CNC Miller Setter/Operator, you will be integral to our manufacturing process, ensuring precision and quality in milling operations. Your role involves setting up and operating CNC milling machines while adhering to strict quality control standards. Your mechanical knowledge, will enable you to produce high-quality components efficiently. Strong communication skills and relevant experience in materials handling and tooling will further enhance your contributions to our team, driving success in a fast-paced production environment.

Skills and Experience:

Setting and Operating CNC Milling machining centres

Experience of operating multiple machines

Self-motivating and able to problem solve

Good communication and numerical skills

Improvers will be considered

Hours of Work:

Flexible 39 hr week
