Cnc Miller Setter/operator
Job Description
CNC Miller Required - 4 day working week
Location Shaw/Oldham
We require a skilled CNC Miller for busy sub contract machine shop.
We operate 10 Haas vertical machining centres with 4th axis capabilities. All controls are Fanuc based. This is a production environment and you need the ability to program from drawings and edit on the machine using Fanuc based controls.
One CNC CAD/CAM experience preferred
The candidate must have previous engineering experience and be able to understand programs, set the machines and operate in an efficient manner whilst using your own initiative. You will be responsible for setting and running of two machines.
We have been established for over 60 years, ISO 9001 accredited and service a wide range for industries, from agriculture, mod and industrial gas amongst others.
Batch sizes from 1 off through to 200 off. Tolerances vary by customer and work type.
39 hours a week Mon to Thurs 7.00am-5.15pm
Holidays 5.6 weeks, plus Christmas and Easter holidays
