How will you make an impact?



The successful candidates will be responsible for machining sensitive aerospace components in line with the master production schedule to customer drawings working with exotic aerospace materials.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:



Work to close tolerance, small batch work, predominantly fixture based in a wide range of aerospace materials such as Jethete, Titanium and Nickel based alloys. Ability to learn multiple machines within the business. Understanding and ability to interpret engineering drawings. Understanding of various controls such as Fanuc & Heidenhein. Use overhead crane for fixture transportation. Understand and be able to follow Batch Card and Standard Working Instructions. Cover holidays and capacity issue with overtime when required. Have a good understanding of manual measuring equipment , micrometres ,internal and external and various other types of measuring equipment. Have a good level of computer literacy.

Experience, Knowledge, Educational and Work Achievements:



Experience in CNC milling on multiple types of machines.

Demonstrate a good level of numeracy / literacy.

A strong work ethic.

(Essential)

Experience in self-inspection and recording results via SPC charts and other methods of data capturing.

(Desirable)

Be confident leading a team and organising work priorities.

(Desirable)
