Are you an experienced & skilled CNC Miller looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment?
Our client in Whittlesey is looking for an experienced CNC Miller/Operator to join the Tool Room team.
You'll play a key part in producing high-precision mould tool components and EDM electrodes, working with cutting-edge CNC milling machines and 3D CADCAM software.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate within all current Health and Safety Legislation (HASAW Act 1974).
- Programme, set, and run CNC milling machines using 3D CADCAM software.
- Repair and maintain mould tools to engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate overhead cranes safely and responsibly.
- Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and machine maintenance.
- Work flexibly to meet production deadlines.
- Assist in training and mentoring apprentices or junior team members.
- Support operations at any of the production sites, as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Tool Room Manager or Supervisor.
- Proven experience with CNC milling machines.
- Proficient in 3D CADCAM software.
- Overhead crane licence needed.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a team and independently.
- Previous experience in toolmaking or mould tool maintenance.
