Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller and Wire eroder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of CNC milling. If required training can be provided for CNC wire erosion and CNC spark erosion machines. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, mechanical knowledge, and problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality production outcomes.

Work a 4 day week, Mon-Thurs 8am-6pm Private medical insurance and income protection insurance. Employers workplace pension. Holiday entitlement - 17 days based on a 4 day week and all Bank Holidays

Duties

Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring adherence to specifications and tolerances. Conduct regular maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance. Utilise CAD/ CAM software, Autocad / Fusion 360 Alpha CAM and Esprit, training can be arranged however knowledge of CAD/ CAM will be an advantage. Perform materials handling tasks as required, ensuring safe and efficient movement of materials. Use hand tools and logic controllers effectively during the programming and machining processes. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during machining operations, implementing solutions promptly.

Requirements

Proven experience in CNC Milling, willingness to learn CNC wire erosion and spark erosion Strong mechanical knowledge. Proficiency in CAD software. Familiarity with materials handling techniques and safety protocols. Basic maths skills for calculations related to machining processes. Ability to work effectively as part of a small team while also being self-motivated. Excellent attention to detail, ensuring precision in all aspects of work.
