CNC Programmer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Offline Programmer to join our clients dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimising CNC programs for our state-of-the-art machines, ensuring efficient and precise production of complex parts and components.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimise CNC programs for 3, 4, and 5-axis milling and turning operations Program and simulate machining processes using Heidenhain controls or similar systems Analyse and interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and specifications to create comprehensive CNC programs Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, machinists, and quality control personnel to ensure optimal production processes Troubleshoot and resolve programming issues to minimise downtime and maximise productivity Implement best practices in CNC programming to improve cycle times, tool life, and overall efficiency Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CNC technology and programming techniques Maintain accurate documentation of programming procedures and revisions Provide technical support and training to machine operators as needed

Required Qualifications:d

Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming, with a focus on offline programming Proficiency in 3 & 4 axis CNC programming for Milling Expert knowledge of Heidenhain controls or similar CNC control systems Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
