Job Description

We are seeking a trained and skilled CNC Mill Turn CAD/CAM Programmer / Setter to join our team.

You will be Programming and Setting and our 4x Doosan MX2600ST 9 axis mill turn machines.

We work on high precision safety critical components in alloy steels, Stainless steel and nickel alloys.

You will be a key part of our team

Key Responsibilities:

Machine Setup and Tooling:

Set up CNC machines, including loading materials, securing workpieces, and installing tooling and fixtures.
Select appropriate cutting tools and make tool changes as necessary.
Conduct tool offsets and work offsets to ensure accurate machining.

Need experience on MX Twin Spindle 8 or 9 axis turning centres. We have Doosan MX2600ST machines and Doosan TT1800SY.

CAD/CAM Programming:

We run Fusion 360 and our Doosan Machines have Fanuc controls. Program new Parts for efficient production on our machines using their complete set of capabilities.

CNC Operation:

Operate CNC machines to produce parts with precision and accuracy, especially first offs or programm proofing parts. Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency. Perform routine maintenance tasks to keep machines in optimal condition.

Quality Assurance:

Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Conduct in-process checks and measurements to verify accuracy and quality. Identify and address any issues that may affect the quality of the product. Train Operators to produce the programmed parts.

Safety and Compliance:

Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including quality standards and production schedules.

Qualifications:

Technical certification or diploma in machining or related field is preferred. Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, Setter, and Operator in a manufacturing environment. Strong Proficiency in CNC programming using CAD/CAM software. Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality parts with hight surface finishes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications. Familiarity with Fanuc machine controls.
The salary offered will be between 18-20 per hour dependent on experience. The right candidate will have several years experience.

Pay: 18.00-20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
