We are currently recruiting for a CNC milling machinist to join our team.
The successful applicant will report directly to the department team leader
The Role:
To assist with growth plans, we are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator to work within our components manufacturing division. This role is an excellent opportunity for a skilled CNC Operator to join our thriving precision engineering company and utilize their skillset to its fullest potential.
The successful candidate for this role will enjoy working for an award winning company who continually invest in both its people and technology infrastructure to ensure we remain at the cutting edge of precision engineering.
Setting and operating a 3-axis CNC mill to produce machined parts
In-process inspection of goods and carrying out quality checks in line with our internal quality system
Working meticulously, paying close attention to workmanship
Operating in line with the company's health & safety policy relative to the workshop environment
Operating in a safe & responsible manner at all times
Check and maintain machinery daily to ensure functionality
Maintain good housekeeping & safe working environment
Willingness to be flexible to the business needs
Any other duties, within reason & capability, as determined by the team leader
Essential Criteria:
3 years' experience in a similar role
Experience with Fanuc i-series controls
Previous experience working to quality standards
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong numeracy and literacy skills
Good level of verbal and written English
Desirable Criteria:
4 years + experience in a similar role
Experience in a precision engineering environment
Hours of Work:
Evening Shift
Monday - Thursday: 4:45 pm to 03:15 am
Friday: OFF
