CNC Operator - Permanent Full Time - Monday to Friday, 2 shift rotation 06:00-14:30 & 13:30 - 22:00 - 33,488 - 38,272/annum (includes shift allowance) Depending on experience

to join our growing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the finishing of bespoke quartz worktops in our Middlesbrough factory.

Key Responsibilities:

As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating and setting CNC machinery to cut, shape, and finish quartz worktops to precise specifications. Quality, accuracy, and efficiency are key to this role

Inspect fabricated quartz/stone worktops for defects, chips, or imperfections. Interpret and follow production job cards and digital work orders to ensure accurate execution of cutting, shaping, and finishing tasks. Ensure all pieces meet company quality standards before dispatch or installation. Operating CNC machines for quartz and stone worktops Setting up machines, tooling, and programs Reading and working from technical drawings and job sheets Loading/unloading slabs safely Monitoring machine performance and carrying out basic adjustments Quality checking finished products to ensure high standards Routine machine maintenance and housekeeping Working to production schedules and health & safety standards Collaborate with fabricators, installers, and designers to ensure product quality and client satisfaction. Maintain a clean and safe working environment in compliance with health and safety standards. Safely handle and move heavy stone pieces using appropriate lifting equipment. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and product quality.

Key Requirements:

5 years CNC setter operator experience. Previous experience of operating CNC machinery in the stone (granite & quartz) industry would be a distinct advantage.
