We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components. Duties
Set up CNC machines according to technical drawings and specifications using CAD and SolidWorks software.
Programme and operate CNC milling machines and other related equipment to produce high-quality parts.
Monitor machine operations, making adjustments as necessary to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery, including calibration and tooling changes.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure precise fabrication.
Handle materials safely and efficiently within the warehouse setting, including loading and unloading raw materials.
Utilise hand tools and welding equipment for assembly or minor repairs when required.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to meet strict tolerances and standards.
Document production data accurately for traceability and process improvement purposes.
Skills
Proven experience in fabrication, machining, or manufacturing environments.
Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and their application in CNC operations.
Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks for programming and design interpretation.
Experience with milling machines, tooling setup, and materials handling procedures.
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
Competence in using hand tools, welding equipment, and other fabrication tools safely.
Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and interpreting technical drawings.
Warehouse experience is advantageous for understanding logistics related to raw materials and finished goods.
