Job Summary

Van Fit Solutions is looking for a

skilled CNC Programmer

to join our growing team in

Middlesbrough

. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC machining, programming, and mechanical processes. This role plays a critical part in maintaining high-quality manufacturing and supporting continuous improvement across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and optimise CNC programmes for milling and turning operations. Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to meet exact specifications. Read and interpret engineering drawings and 3D models. Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure uptime and accuracy. Collaborate with engineers to refine production processes and reduce material waste. Use hand tools for minor assembly and machine adjustments. Handle and store materials safely within the warehouse environment. Diagnose and resolve machine and tooling issues, including basic PLC faults.
Required Skills & Experience

Proficiency with

SolidWorks

for part design and adjustment. Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with CNC manufacturing. Comfortable performing manual calculations relevant to machining. Experience with material handling and warehouse operations is advantageous. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
