Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented

CNC Press Brake Operator

to join our aerospace manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience working to tight tolerances on precision components and will be familiar with the requirements and quality standards of the aerospace industry

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC press brake machines (Amada and Morgan Rushworth) for precision forming of aerospace components. Select and install correct tooling based on bend requirements and material specifications. Adjust machine settings for material type, thickness, and angle to achieve precise results. Perform in-process inspections using callipers, height gauges, and protractors. Maintain strict adherence to AS9100 or equivalent aerospace quality standards. Identify and report non-conformances and contribute to root cause analysis when required. Safely handle and process aerospace materials (e.g., aluminium, titanium, stainless steels) Maintain machine cleanliness and perform routine operator-level maintenance. Work collaboratively with quality, engineering, and production teams to meet delivery and quality targets.

Requirements

Proven experience operating CNC press brake machines in a precision engineering or aerospace environment Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and geometric tolerances. Familiar with bending principles, material behaviours, and correct tooling setup. Competent in the use of precision measuring instruments. Strong focus on quality, detail, and continuous improvement. Understanding of health & safety procedures and aerospace compliance standards. Able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.42-15.47 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 39 per week
