Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team.

Previous experience is essential.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in programming CNC machinery and have a keen eye for detail. This role involves working with various materials and requires a solid understanding of mechanical principles and tooling. As a CNC Programmer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision and quality of our manufactured products.

It would be extremely useful for the candidate to have knowledge of Cloud NC or similar AI based programming software.

Duties

Develop and optimise CNC programmes for milling and turning operations using CAD software. Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently. Conduct regular maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with the engineering team to design tooling and fixtures that enhance production efficiency. Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards. Handle materials safely within the warehouse environment, maintaining an organised workspace. Troubleshoot issues related to CNC operations and implement solutions promptly.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or similar role within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency in CAD software, particularly Cloud NC, is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this role. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: 32,000.00-40,000.00 per year
