Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Setter/operator to join our Milling department. You will be joining an experienced team who produce precision engineered components for a wide range of sectors on the following CNC milling machines: Hurco VMX60i, VMX42i, VM30i, and VM10i.

Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Perform basic maths calculations to ensure accurate measurements
- Handle materials effectively and safely during the production process
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Mill Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in using tooling, mill equipment, and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience, negotiable at interview.

Holidays: 21 days holiday plus 8 statutory public holidays per year.

Hours of work: Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 08.00-17.00, Friday 08.00-13.00
