Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a number of Setter/operators who are competent running any/all of the following - Mazak (Mazatrol) ; XYZ (Prototrak) ; Doosan Puma (Fanuc) CNC ; Hurco (Max5) lathes.

You will receive full support on our products and methods of manufacture to assist you in settling into the role.

Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Perform basic maths calculations to ensure accurate measurements
- Handle materials effectively and safely during the production process
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Lathe Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in using tooling, lathe equipment, and hand tools
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience, negotiable at interview.

Holidays: 21 days holiday plus 8 statutory public holidays per year.

Pension Scheme: 11% (6% Employer contributions / 5% Employee)

Hours of work: Day Shift - Monday to Thursday 08.00-17.00, Friday 08.00-13.00
