CNC Setter / Operator
CNC Miller-Setter-Operator required for an established Precision Engineering company based in South Woodham Ferrers.
The successful candidate will be fully skilled in CNC Setting and operating with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail. Producing varied work for medical and defence industries, often small batch sizes with high degree of accuracy.
You must be able to understand drawings with close tolerances and be experienced in machining different types of materials.
Main Duties:
- Setting and operating of 3&4 Axis Milling Machines - Primarily XYZ and DMG machines using Siemens controls. Setting of 5 Axis Milling machines an advantage - Haas and Fanuc controls.
Personal Specification:
- Candidate must be skilled and experienced in programming and setting CNC machine tools and able to work independently under own initiative. Must be proactive and capable of anticipating potential problems
Hours worked
Mon - Thursday 7:00am - 15:30pm
Friday 7:00am - 12:00 pm
Hourly rate paid on experience
