We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner and/or Miller to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a keen eye for detail, ensuring precision in the production of components. This role involves operating CNC machines, interpreting technical drawings, and utilising various hand tools to achieve high-quality results.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC machines to produce components as per specifications.
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and CAD models.
- Set up tooling and fixtures for machining processes.
- Perform quality checks using measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC equipment, including logic controllers.
- Assemble components as required, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Experience
- Proficiency in basic maths for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
- Familiarity with CAD software, is advantageous.
- Hands-on experience with hand tools and tooling setups is essential.
- Mechanical knowledge
- Previous experience in operating similar machinery is preferred but not mandatory.
