We are seeking a skilled

CNC Turner

to join our client's manufacturing team in Oxford. This role is crucial in ensuring the precision and quality of machined components, contributing to their commitment to excellence in production.

The successful candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, experience operating CNC turning machines, and the ability to deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties

Set up and operate CNC turning machines according to specifications Interpret engineering drawings accurately Perform routine maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machining processes and tooling Safely handle materials and maintain efficiency within the workshop environment Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues quickly and effectively Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area in line with health and safety regulations

Skills & Experience

Strong mechanical knowledge with an understanding of logic controllers Experience working with a range of machining materials Familiarity with tooling techniques; welding experience is an advantage Excellent problem-solving skills and logical thinking ability Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
