Join a leading aerospace manufacturer as a CNC Lathe / Mill-Turn Machinist and take on a pivotal leadership role within our advanced Mill/Turn department. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled machinist to contribute to producing precision aerospace components while driving process improvements and enhancing workflow efficiency.

Role Overview:

Lead daily operations in the Mill/Turn machining cell Operate and program CMZ Mill/Turn CNC machines Identify and implement process improvements to boost manufacturing efficiency Manufacture high-precision aerospace components that meet stringent industry standards

Key Responsibilities:

Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mill-turn machines with precision Continuously refine machining processes to consistently achieve aerospace tolerances and specifications Maintain rigorous quality control to ensure all parts meet technical requirements Accurately document cycle times and production records Keep the workspace clean, safe, and organised Lead continuous improvement efforts and collaborate with team members to increase productivity

What We're Looking For:

Extensive experience in CNC programming, setting, and operating, preferably with CMZ Mill/Turn machines Proven ability to work within tight tolerances and uphold high-quality standards Strong problem-solving skills focused on process optimisation Experience in aerospace or other precision-driven sectors highly preferred Leadership skills with the ability to mentor and support team members
