CNC Lathe / Mill-Turn Machinist - Aerospace Industry
Join a leading aerospace manufacturing company as a CNC Lathe / Mill-Turn Machinist and take the helm of our Mill/Turn department. You will play a vital role in producing precise aerospace components, driving process improvements, and enhancing workflow efficiency.
Main Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations within the Mill/Turn machining cell
- Operate and program CMZ Mill/Turn CNC machines
- Identify opportunities to boost manufacturing productivity
- Produce high-precision aerospace parts that meet rigorous industry standards
- Accurately program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mill-turn machines
- Optimize machining processes to achieve aerospace tolerances
- Implement quality control measures and document production data
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with team members
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation (CMZ Mill/Turn preferred)
- Ability to work within tight tolerances while maintaining quality standards
- Strong problem-solving skills for process optimization
- Experience in the aerospace or precision industry is a plus
- Leadership skills to mentor and support team members
