CNC Lathe / Mill-Turn Machinist - Aerospace

Lead the Mill/Turn Department for a Leading Aerospace Manufacturer

We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe / Mill-Turn Machinist to manage our mill/turn cell, manufacture high-precision aerospace components, and drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of the mill/turn machining cell Program, set up, and operate CMZ mill/turn CNC machines (or equivalent) Identify opportunities to improve productivity and efficiency Manufacture aerospace components to strict tolerances and quality standards Optimise machining processes to achieve tighter tolerances Implement quality controls and maintain accurate production records Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work area Lead continuous-improvement initiatives and support team development

What We're Looking For

Proven experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation, preferably with CMZ mill/turn machines Ability to consistently work to tight tolerances while ensuring high-quality output Strong problem-solving skills for process optimisation Background in aerospace or precision engineering is advantageous Leadership skills to mentor and guide team members
