Fibre-Tech is a leading specialist in precision engineering, delivering high-quality machined components for a range of industries. Our modern facility handles a mix of large-scale casting work and small to medium volume small component production.

The Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced

CNC Turner

to join our skilled team. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional with a strong background in CNC turning and a passion for precision manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC lathes using

Fanuc controls

Manufacture components to tight tolerances, ensuring high quality and consistency Interpret technical drawings and specifications Work on a variety of components, including

large castings

and

high-volume small parts

Assist in continuous improvement initiatives and support production efficiency Opportunity to support

CNC milling operations

when required

Requirements:

Proven experience in CNC turning Proficiency with

Fanuc control systems

Experience with

FeatureCAM

is desirable Familiarity with

large component machining

is advantageous Additional experience in

CNC milling

is of interest

Cylindrical grinding experience

is also of interest Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality
