We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC turning machines to produce precision components, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes and the ability to interpret technical drawings.
Duties
Operate CNC turning machines, setting up tools and fixtures as required.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production.
Conduct regular inspections of finished products to maintain quality control standards.
Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
Assemble components as necessary, ensuring all parts fit together correctly.
Handle materials safely and efficiently, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and improve efficiency.
Skills
Proficiency in using SolidWorks for design and modelling purposes is advantageous.
Strong mechanical knowledge, with experience in tooling and the use of hand tools.
Familiarity with materials handling practices within a warehouse environment.
Understanding of logic controllers and their application in CNC machinery.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
Experience with milling operations is a plus, enhancing versatility in machining tasks.
