CNC Turner

Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in operating CNC turning machines. This role is essential for producing high-quality components with precision and efficiency. The successful applicant will be responsible for interpreting technical drawings and ensuring that all products meet the required specifications.

Responsibilities

Operate Fanuc Controlled CNC turning machines to produce components according to specifications. Interpret and work from CAD drawings to set up and programme machinery. Conduct regular maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations necessary for machining processes. Troubleshoot issues with machinery, including logic controllers, to maintain production flow.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience in a similar CNC turning role or relevant mechanical background. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and machinery effectively. Familiarity with turning processes is advantageous but not essential. Experience with Fanuc controls is a necessity.
