NIGHT SHIFT
We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC turning machinery to produce high-precision components. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background and experience in CNC operating/setting. The position is suitable for individuals confident to work independently and in a team.

Duties

Set up, and operate CNC machines using Fanuc controls Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate production Use hand tools and tooling to assist with machine setup and part inspection Handle materials safely and efficiently within the production area Perform routine inspections of machined parts to ensure quality standards are met Troubleshoot issues related to CNC machinery Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols

Experience

Proven experience in CNC machining or manufacturing environments with a focus on turning or similar processes Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in fabrication, tooling, and materials handling Proficiency in operating star sliding head machines, Fanuc controls or similar Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations during setup and operation Shopfloor experience or background in production and inspection is desirable but not essential Knowledge of precision engineering practises

Details

Night shift only - future opportunity for day shifts Overtime hours/pay available - depending on business workload Skill development encouraged 48hr weeks (6pm-6am) 4 day working week (Monday-Thursday)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
