Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and reliable Bus Driver to operate passenger vehicles safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding service. This role involves transporting passengers along designated routes, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the journey. Candidates with experience in commercial driving, delivery, or warehouse operations are encouraged to apply. A valid driver's licence and mechanical knowledge are desirable to support vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

Safely operate buses along assigned routes, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations Conduct pre-journey safety inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, tyres, lights, and fluid levels Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing courteous and professional service Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and any incidents during shifts Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers to ensure smooth operations Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly for maintenance or repair Follow all health and safety protocols, including those related to COVID-19 precautions if applicable Support warehouse or delivery tasks as needed, especially involving flatbed loading or unloading

Requirements

Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record Proven experience in commercial driving, delivery driving, or warehouse operations involving flatbed transport is preferred Strong driving skills with a focus on safety and punctuality Mechanical knowledge to assist with basic vehicle maintenance or troubleshooting Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with passengers and team members Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late shifts as required Experience with flatbed vehicles is advantageous but not essential Physical ability to assist with loading/unloading cargo if necessary

Job Types: Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week

Experience:

coach driving : 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

PCV Licence (required)
