We are seeking a reliable and dedicated coach Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while ensuring a comfortable and pleasant journey. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Duties
Operate the coach in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
Ensure the coach is well-maintained, performing basic mechanical checks and reporting any issues.
Communicate effectively with passengers, providing information about routes, schedules, and any delays.
Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, ensuring their safety at all times.
Maintain cleanliness within the coach, ensuring a tidy environment for all passengers.
Keep accurate records of daily trips, including mileage and passenger counts.
Collaborate with dispatchers and other team members to ensure timely service delivery.
Skills
Previous experience as a coach driver is advantageous.
Strong commercial driving skills with a valid driving licence suitable for operating coaches.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with passengers and colleagues.
Familiarity with warehouse operations can be beneficial for logistical coordination.
Basic mechanical knowledge to perform routine checks on the vehicle.
Ability to drive various types of vehicles, including small to large PSV vehicles.
A commitment to providing exceptional customer service while maintaining safety standards.
