The Company

We are a family owned and ran business in Portglenone who convert high spec passenger cars to special purpose vehicles. We have an emphasis on quality workmanship and a high level of aftercare.

The Role

We're looking for someone to join the team in our metalwork and bodyfitting department. Here we prepare the chassis for specialist body panels, fabricate said panels and internal framework and then fit fibreglass parts to the new extended chassis.

Duties include

Cutting and removing bodypanels from base chassis Extending chassis to specification Fabrication of mild steel extension panels Fitting fibreglass bodyshell to chassis Fitting and alignment of body panels Fabrication of internal framework in mild steel General Housekeeping Signing off worksheets Occasional other tasks related to coachbuilding

Working Hours
Monday-Thursday 7.00am-5.15pm

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who has a willingness to learn.

Ability to work as part of a team Experience with hand and power tools Ability to be adaptable for bespoke vehicle requirements Good time management Good communicator Health and safety conscious
Desirable Skills

Full driving licence Experience working with motor vehicles NVQ in a related area Experience with MIG welding mild steel
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.50-15.50 per hour
