Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving and have experience in delivery services. This role involves transporting coal safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Duties

Operate various types of vehicles, including flatbed lorries, to transport coal to designated locations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling of materials to prevent damage. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies during transportation. Provide excellent customer service during interactions with clients upon delivery.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with a valid clean driving licence for relevant vehicle classes. Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers. Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently to meet delivery deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour
