Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Coal Driver & Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for gardening. This role involves maintaining gardens, landscapes, and green spaces to ensure they are healthy, vibrant, and aesthetically pleasing. The Gardener will also be responsible for operating various gardening equipment and may assist with deliveries as required.

Responsibilities

Driving and delivering coal. Maintain and cultivate gardens, including planting, pruning, weeding, and watering plants. Operate gardening tools and machinery safely and efficiently. Assist in the design and layout of new garden areas. Monitor plant health and identify pests or diseases; implement appropriate treatments. Communicate effectively with team members regarding garden maintenance needs. Drive flatbed lorries or vans for the transportation of plants, equipment, or materials as needed. Perform general maintenance tasks such as cleaning tools and equipment. Provide support in warehouse operations when necessary.

Requirements

Previous experience in gardening or horticulture is preferred but not essential. Strong mechanical knowledge to operate gardening machinery effectively. Valid driver's licence with experience in commercial driving preferred. Ability to communicate clearly with team members and clients. Physical stamina to perform manual labour outdoors in various weather conditions. A willingness to learn new techniques and skills related to gardening practices.
