Duties

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and taking orders in a friendly manner. Monitor customer behaviour to ensure responsible serving practices are upheld. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring all sales are recorded correctly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and drink service during busy periods. Restock supplies as needed and assist in inventory management.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction. Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Experience in serving beverages, preferably in a restaurant or bar setting. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills. Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate.
