The LAB, now re-open, is looking to hire experienced Bar Staff. The venue is one of Glasgow's best known bars just off Buchanan Street and behind Princes Square. We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cocktail Bartenders to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area.

Responsibilities may include:

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages to customers Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the bar area Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner Handle cash transactions accurately Assist in re-stocking bar inventory and supplies Help maintain clean guest areas Support management with basic cellars management duties Take orders and serve food when required

Skills

Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours. Knowledge of food safety practices relevant to the hospitality industry. Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is mandatory. Proficient bartending skills, including knowledge of cocktail recipes and drink preparation techniques. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills accurately. Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly demeanour that fosters positive customer interactions.
