We are seeking a Bartender's to join our vibrant hospitality team at the newly opened Mezcal at the Glasgow Fort Shopping Centre. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and ensuring guests enjoy their experience. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, maintaining cleanliness standards, and engaging with patrons in a professional manner. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards. Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience. Ensure all drinks are served safely, adhering to food safety regulations and responsible service policies. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces. Manage cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts. Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience working as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role is preferred. Knowledge of food safety standards relevant to beverage service. Strong understanding of serving techniques and customer engagement skills. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy shifts. Experience working in a restaurant or bar environment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
