Job Summary

We are seeking a EXPERIENCE, friendly and professional Cocktail Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent service to our guests, preparing and serving drinks, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills within a dynamic environment, ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous restaurant experience is preferred, along with customer service. Candidates must be able to work evenings and weekends as required on a rota basis

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently, adhering to standard recipes and presentation standards. Greet guests warmly, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences. Ensure the bar area remains clean, organised, and fully stocked throughout the shift. Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including any specials or promotions. Uphold hygiene standards and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times. Manage multiple tables or bar stations effectively, demonstrating excellent time management skills. Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of each shift.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour. Knowledge of good standards relevant to beverage service. Experience in serving or bartending within a restaurant or bar environment is essential. Good organisational skills to keep the workspace tidy and efficient. Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Excellent time management to ensure prompt service during busy periods. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Familiarity with standard drink recipes and mixology techniques is advantageous.
