Cocktail Bartender - Nightcap, Edinburgh

Reporting to:

Assistant Bar Manager / Bar Manager

Pay:

13.45 per hour + share + service charge

Contract:

Minimum 35 hours (4 days on / 3 days off where possible)

What You'll Be Doing

Guest Experience

Deliver warm, engaging, memorable service Anticipate guest needs and offer thoughtful recommendations Maintain a relaxed but professional atmosphere
Cocktail & Product Knowledge

Prepare cocktails with confidence, accuracy, and great presentation Show a strong grasp of classics and willingness to learn new techniques Master the Nightcap menu
Operations & Standards

Keep the bar clean, organised, and service-ready Follow opening, closing, and prep procedures accurately Maintain excellent hygiene, safety, and compliance Support stock control and minimise waste
Teamwork & Development

Communicate clearly and positively with the team Take part in training, team meetings, and menu development Bring reliability, professionalism, and energy to each shift

What We're Looking For

Experience in cocktail bars (high-end or high-volume) Excellent communication and emotional intelligence Strong attention to detail and pride in your craft Calm under pressure, especially during late-night service A team-first attitude and willingness to grow Comfortable working across both refined and high-energy environments
Scottish Personal Licence preferred but not essential.
