You might not be a computing whizz but our in-house training program will show you everything you need to know to run outstanding Coding Workshops.
Being a Code Coach has some hugely rewarding benefits. Not only are you teaching young people a life-skill but you are also helping them to be digitally savvy whilst inspiring them to solve problems.
We currently operate with a portfolio of over 200 Primary schools in BR and DA areas, running after school clubs between 3:15 and 4:30pm.
Ideally, we would like someone who would be able to work 5 sessions a week from 3pm to 5pm, but we can be flexible with this and fit around your commitments.
The ideal candidate should have:
A positive attitude to helping young people succeed through teamwork, confidence building and exploration.
A sound general knowledge of IT ( Training on each workshops is given to each employee)
A teaching qualification, childcare qualification, teaching assisting qualification or be working towards.
An excellent communicator who is well organised and punctual.
Car driver licence required
All candidates will need a DBS qualification to work within this job role. This can be ascertained on behalf of the successful candidate.
This would suit a teacher/HLTA who would like to work a few hours a week, or be good experience for someone who is looking to embark on teacher training.
