Code Ninjas Cambridge is a dynamic coding centre where children aged 5-14 learn to code in a fun, engaging, and structured environment. Our mission is to empower kids with digital skills for the future through gamified learning using platforms such as Scratch, Minecraft, Roblox, JavaScript, C#, and Python.
The Role
We are looking for a passionate, organised, and confident
Centre Director
to manage daily operations, build parent relationships, support staff, and ensure an exceptional experience for every child. This is a leadership position ideal for someone with an education background, strong communication skills, and an interest in technology or STEM learning.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of the coding centre across sites
Lead a team of instructors, ensuring high-quality instruction and safety
Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress, scheduling, and events
Manage scheduling, bookings, student records, and customer queries
Support delivery of coding sessions where needed (training provided)
Promote centre growth through events, outreach, and local partnerships
Track student progress and manage belt-level advancement
Handle administrative tasks including attendance, billing support, and reports
Organise and promote holiday camps and special events
Coordinate marketing, school outreach, and local partnerships
Support new student onboarding and free trial sessions
Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, and GDPR standards
What We're Looking For
2+ years of experience in education, childcare, or centre management
Confident leader with strong organisational and communication skills
Background as a primary or secondary school teacher is a strong plus
Passion for working with children and interest in coding/STEM (technical experience not required - training provided)
Ability to manage a small team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Available to work
