We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals through tailored instruction and support. This role involves working closely with students of various ages, including those with special educational needs, to enhance their understanding of subject matter and improve their overall performance.
Responsibilities
Provide small group tutoring sessions to students in computing and coding.
Assess students' learning styles and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress and areas for improvement.
Maintain a positive and encouraging learning environment that fosters student engagement.
Collaborate with tutors and other educational professionals to support student learning objectives.
Skills
Strong ability to communicate complex concepts in an understandable manner.
Experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly with children of various age groups.
Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable.
Ability to educate and inspire students, fostering a love for learning.
Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and adaptability in addressing diverse learning needs.
