Responsibilities
Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the unit area, including workstations, equipment, and seating areas.
Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure proper food handling practices at all times.
Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are fresh and presented well.
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any queries or concerns.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including basic maths for processing payments.
Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support one another during peak hours.
Skills
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Experience in coffee preparation, barista experience is advantageous but not essential.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
Basic maths skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
A friendly disposition with the ability to engage with customers effectively.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
