Job Summary

We are seeking friendly and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistants to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. This role involves catering to our customers' needs, preparing food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming environment in our coffee shop. Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe setting is preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and other refreshments. Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared according to food safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including tables, counters, and equipment. Handle orders and ensure timely delivery of services. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Collaborate with team members to create a positive working environment. Uphold health and safety regulations within the facility

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is desirable but not essential. Barista experience is an advantage but not essential; we are willing to train the right candidate. Strong knowledge of food safety practices is preferred. Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
