Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery. Supervise and train staff, fostering a positive team environment while promoting professional development. Oversee food preparation and production processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations. Maintain high standards of culinary excellence, including cooking and serving dishes to guests. Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy. Collaborate with the management team to implement strategies for improving service quality and operational performance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen and dining areas.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential. Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and development. Previous experience in a kitchen environment is highly desirable; barista or hotel experience is a plus. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with staff and customers alike.
