Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items meet food safety standards Maintain cleanliness of the coffee shop, including tables, counters, and equipment Handle cash and card transactions efficiently while providing receipts to customers Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods Provide catering services for events when required Uphold high standards of hospitality to enhance customer satisfaction

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or cafe environment is advantageous Barista experience preferred, with knowledge of various coffee brewing methods Strong food safety awareness to ensure compliance with health regulations Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in catering and food preparation Strong organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently throughout shifts

Pay: 10.00-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 12 per week
