We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Assistant to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting with various tasks in our coffee shop. Duties

Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and other specialty drinks Assist with food preparation and ensure all items are presented attractively Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop, including the seating area and service counters Handle catering orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and set-up when required Provide exceptional service to all customers, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly Uphold food safety standards in all aspects of food handling and preparation Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

Experience

Previous experience in a cafe or restaurant environment is preferred Barista experience is an advantage but not essential; training will be provided A background in hospitality or food preparation will be beneficial Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain high standards within the shop Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour are crucial for success in this role

Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
