Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Coffee Shop Floor Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and possess a keen interest in hospitality and food preparation. This role involves supporting daily operations, preparing beverages, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all customers. Previous experience in catering, serving, or barista roles is advantageous, but full training will be provided to the right applicant. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including specialised coffee drinks, adhering to quality standards. Assist with food preparation and presentation to ensure freshness and visual appeal. Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering queries, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee shop area, including equipment cleaning and stock replenishment. Support with catering functions or special events as required. Follow food safety protocols at all times to ensure hygiene standards are upheld. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, catering, or restaurant environments is preferred; barista experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively during busy periods. Excellent communication skills with a friendly and professional manner. Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required. A genuine interest in food preparation, serving, and delivering outstanding customer service. Flexibility to work shifts as scheduled, including weekends if necessary.
