Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Coffee Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our coffee shop, Beyond Coffee Co - due to open in December 2025. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality and food service, demonstrating leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences. As the Coffee Shop Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons.

Duties

Supervise daily operations, ensuring smooth service and high-quality food preparation Lead and manage a team of baristas and kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment Oversee food production processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations Train staff in food safety practices, cooking techniques, and customer service excellence Develop menus that reflect seasonal offerings while maintaining cost efficiency Handle inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste Engage with customers to enhance their experience and address any concerns promptly Monitor financial performance, including sales targets and operational costs

Experience

Previous experience in a managerial role within a restaurant or coffee shop setting is required although not essential Working in a coffee shop and relevant formal training in food preparation is essential Proven supervisory experience with strong team management skills Background in hospitality Familiarity with barista duties and coffee preparation techniques is beneficial Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production is required
