Job Summary

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Coffee Shop staff to join our team on a part or full time basis. Previous experience within a similar role is essential.The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, along with the ability to work as a team effectively. As a Coffee Shop team member, you will participate in daily operations, ensure exceptional service, and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Duties

Complete daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service. Deliver excellent coffee preparation, serving techniques, and customer interaction. Maintain compliance with food safety regulations and ensure all health standards are met. Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring quality and presentation meet our standards. Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Implement time management strategies to optimise service during peak hours.

Experience

Previous barista experience is an advantage, with an understanding of coffee brewing techniques. Experience in food preparation and serving within a cafe or restaurant environment is advantageous. Knowledge of food safety practices is required to maintain compliance with health regulations. Basic math skills are necessary for handling transactions and managing inventory. Strong time management skills are crucial for balancing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience is essential

Pay: 7.50-12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
