As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced to lead and manage the day-to-day operations of our coffee shop, ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the business.
Role Overview:
As the Coffee Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the coffee shop, managing the team, and ensuring that every customer enjoys an exceptional experience. You will have full responsibility for the coffee shops performance, from staff management and inventory control to customer satisfaction and financial oversight. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in coffee shop management to lead a thriving business in the food sector.

Mon - Saturday (5 days) 7am - 4pm
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Staff Management:
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of coffee counter staff, ensuring that they are well-trained, engaged, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Customer Service Excellence:
Create a welcoming, friendly environment for all customers, handle customer queries or complaints, and maintain high service standards.
Operational Management:
Oversee the daily operations of the coffee counter, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and shift scheduling.
Inventory Control & Ordering:
Monitor stock levels, place orders for ingredients and supplies. Ensure products are always available and well-stocked.
Financial Oversight:
Manage the daily cash flow, oversee till operations, and ensure that financial targets are met.
Cashing Up Tills:
Ensure tills are accurately cashed up at the end of each shift, with discrepancies addressed promptly.
Quality Control:
Ensure that all products meet the coffee counter high standards for quality and presentation. Conduct regular checks on product freshness and display.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Ensure the coffee counter operates in accordance with all food safety and hygiene regulations. Maintain clean and safe workspaces for both staff and customers.
Marketing & Promotions:
Assist with promotional activities, seasonal campaigns, and social media efforts to boost customer engagement and sales.
Customer Relationships:
Build and maintain relationships with regular customers and encourage new business by delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
Proven experience as a manager or supervisor in a bakery, cafe, or food retail environment, with strong knowledge of bakery operations.
Leadership Skills:
Exceptional leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire, coach, and develop a team.
Customer-Focused:
A passion for delivering top-tier customer service and fostering a positive atmosphere.
Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational and time management abilities, able to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Financial Acumen:
Experience with managing budgets, cash handling, and achieving sales targets.
Food Safety & Hygiene:
Knowledge of food safety regulations and the ability to maintain strict hygiene standards.
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise with customers, suppliers, and staff.
