Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a CBT Psychotherapist to join the East Midlands NHS Gambling Service. You will be responsible for providing cognitive behavioural therapy to individuals who are experience gambling harms.



The East Midlands NHS Gambling Harms Service provides care and treatment interventions to individuals experiencing gambling harm throughout the East Midlands. A high proportion of the interventions will be through video consultation, however, face to face work will also be a treatment option and you will be required to meet the travel demands of the post throughout the East Midlands where required.



Excellent communication skills, with the ability to be able to work with teams as well as on your own initiative are essential.



Statutory regulated Core professional (OT / Psychologist /Social Worker / Mental Health Nurse) plus full accreditation in CBT Psychotherapy is required.



You will also be part of a supportive leadership team in the Addictions Directorate at Derbyshire Healthcare Foundation Trust.

The post holder will be responsible for ensuring the provision of high-quality CBT interventions that are evidence based and meet the Trusts' Standards.



The post will involve working closely in collaboration with our Psychological Therapies department at Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Trust.
