Your Role as a Co-Head of Training and Development:
As the go-to expert for clinical training and governance, you will:
Lead & Oversee Training - Manage the development and delivery of comprehensive training programs for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.
Support & Mentor Clinicians - Provide guidance on clinical queries, best practices, and career progression.
Develop CPD & Supervision - Design and deliver CPD sessions, clinical supervision, and one-on-one training for clinicians.
Drive Clinical Excellence - Support staff in completing the CPPE pathway and enhancing their clinical skills.
Implement Strategic Training Plans - Create SOPs, clinical guidelines, and competency frameworks that align with national standards.
Enhance System Training - Deliver tailored training on clinical systems to improve efficiency and patient care.
Collaborate with Leadership - Work closely with senior management to maintain the highest clinical governance standards.
What We're Looking For:
We're searching for a passionate leader who thrives on developing others and driving change in primary care.
Essential:
Experienced Clinical Pharmacist with a strong background in primary care (PCN or GP surgery)
Proven track record in training and developing clinicians at scale
Master's Degree in Pharmacy & registration with the GPhC
Independent Prescribing Qualification
Completed CPPE Clinical Pharmacist Pathway
Strong leadership & communication skills
Deep understanding of primary care, NHS contracts, and PCN working
Passion for innovation, problem-solving, and clinical excellence
Desirable:
Experience in designing clinical pathways and governance structures
Knowledge of AI and digital health solutions in primary care
Strong understanding of clinical risk management
